About ARI Canada

"My philosophy, in essence, is the concept of man as a heroic being, with his own happiness as the moral purpose of his life, with productive achievement as his noblest activity, and reason as his only absolute." —Ayn Rand

The Ayn Rand Institute Canada is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to providing information about and resources on books by novelist-philosopher Ayn Rand, author of the famous novels The Fountainhead and Atlas Shrugged and originator of the philosophy which she named Objectivism.

ARI Canada offers opportunities and resources to students and teachers who are interested in learning about Ayn Rand’s novels. We provide classroom sets of Ayn Rand’s novels to high school teachers in Canada, and we arrange for Canadian high school students to enter essay contests with prizes totaling more than US$100,000 in prize money.
